What is the ARTEMAS™ web site address?

May I use an Acord form to submit an application?
No, we prefer that you use the Artemas Internet based application, however, you can use the Breed's Hill Habitational Application Form

What Umbrella limits do you offer?
We are able to provide quotes for Umbrella Limits of $5,000,000, $10,000,000, and $25,000,000.

How do I bind coverage?
There are two ways to bind coverage with Breed's Hill.

1. Scan and email the completed “Request to Bind” and signed terrorism forms to bh-binding@breedshill.net. Please indicate the bound coverages and effective dates.

2. Fax the completed “Request to Bind” and signed terrorism forms to 617/886-0610.

Remember: Only those coverages you specifically identify on the Request to Bind form will be considered bound.

How do I obtain a certificate of insurance?
Breed's Hill does not issue certificates of insurance. brokers may issue certificates of insurance, provided they track with coverage as quoted or on existing policies. Please call if you have any questions. 

How do I reserve an account?
For any new business to Breed's Hill, you must request a reservation for any account prior to submitting an application. You may do this by sending an email to reserve@breedshill.net. Indicate the full Named Insured wording, any DBA or care of, and full mailing address (including zip code) along with the effective date of the policies. We will assign a Named Insured number within one business day, and then you may login to the system at any time to enter the application data. Please note that, unless we inform you otherwise, this reservation will expire sixty days from the date of that e-mail. 

How do I report a claim?
All claims submitted to Breed's Hill must be reported on a fully completed Acord loss form. In this initial contact from the insured, please secure as much information as possible to assist the adjuster in processing the claim.

Do you have a coastal restriction?
Yes. We cannot write Property insurance on Cape Cod or the outer islands of Massachusetts or Rhode Island. There are additional restrictions for the coastlines of Rhode Island and Connecticut. Please call our underwriters, Jack O'Connor or Keith Schwab, at 617/886-0606, to discuss these restrictions.

Is the Property policy written on a blanket, replacement costs basis?
Provided building values are adequate, Property insurance will be written on a blanket limit basis at replacement cost. This policy is also written on an agreed amount basis without co-insurance.

Do we accept broker of record letters?
Yes, we will accept an agency of record letter as long as it is received 5 full business days prior to the inception of the policy or policies. We will also need an application from the new broker prior to the binding date.
